Objective
The objective of the project is to develop and apply a methodology to support rapid establishment and efficient operations of new Extended Manufacturing Enterprises in the European automotive and electronics supplier industry. The methodology (and methods, models, and tools) can be customised to local industrial conditions at different sites in Europe. Comparative studies of the transferability of the MOMENT methodology to other industries will be carried out. The project is undertaken an "open source" philosophy implying that the achievements obtained are truly non-proprietary and accessible to all. The project also addresses the issues of training of the workforce by a work package that includes a ICT based learning tool.
