Highly advanced coloration method

Objective

The project aims to develop an innovative and automatic decoration/coloration method and equipment for small detailed parts of manufactured articles that are at present partially decorated by hand and not treatable with the usual tampography techniques. The intended method is based on an innovative "ink jet" print head, integrated with a tailored CAD/CAM system able to correctly position the print head for colouring parts of these manufactures.

The main achievements of the project will be:
1) a prototype able to automatically colour/decorate small parts of toys;
2)The Hero system will allow the creation of just one production line for the whole coloration process;
3) The project will allow the creation of new jobs;
4)The economic potential of the system will ensure a rapid return on the investment.
