Integral automatic system for kitchen furniture manufacturing

Objective

The main objective pursued with this project is to develop a pilot system to be applied in kitchen and accessories furniture manufacturing totally automated, from the transmission of a request through Internet until its delivery, without a direct intervention of working power. This carries out an important innovation within the kitchen furniture sector and will suppose a flexible production totally oriented to customer needs, to decrease drastically the lead time and the mistakes during the management and the production, and to minimise the waste and raw material employment. As specific objectives aimed in this project, it is worth to mention's. To automate totally the manufacturing process from the request transmission till the final product deliveries. To reduce the lead-time to the half. Nowadays, the average lead-time within the sector is about 30 days and with this proposal it will be decreased until 15 days. 3. To increase the product quality thanks to the administration and production management mistakes elimination's. To increase the raw material exploitation, reducing waste. 5. To reduce risks for the working power due to the manual works with saws or sharp items and also due to the contact with volatile and/or toxic dangerous
