Objective
The project program inhabits the development of a technology and product to re-use printing pastes in the textile industry. Re-use of paste is requested due to both environmental and economical restrictions. The scope of the project is focussed on 99% paste re-use ability by studying different paste formulas in respect to the re-use frequency itself in day-to-day operation. From this information a mathematical model will be extracted that will lead into a sophisticated algorithm in order to control a smart logistic paste handling system to be developed This system. Completely computer controlled, handles paste barrels fully automatic according to instructions from the algorithm Expertise needed in the project cover (textile) chemistry, mathematics, computer and software engineering, mechanical engineering and textile end user know how. As outcome of the project a product will be launched that enables end-users to lower their costs (efficient re-use of resources), work faster (minim downtime of printing machines) and declining environmental pollution (minimised paste effluent stream).

Topic(s)
Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Funding Scheme
Funding scheme (or “Type of Action”) inside a programme with common features. It specifies: the scope of what is funded; the reimbursement rate; specific evaluation criteria to qualify for funding; and the use of simplified forms of costs like lump sums.
