Objective
The main feature of this project is to obtain visible laser in the green range pumping with infrared laser diode using step up conversion instead of frequency doubling. The actual green solid state laser work with frequency doubling which need precise adjustment of 2 crystals and are temperature sensitive. This is the reason why this laser is very expensive or have low quality for industrial use. The objective is to obtain a laser which is easy to manufacture and more stable. The step up laser works only with one crystal and alignment is not required, so the stability problems will be reduced. The expected result is to obtain a much cheaper and better laser in order to be used in the industrial, medical and for research application. At least we will obtain pulsed laser emission which have also a big market but the main target is to obtain continuous emission. With the project we will also verify what is the maximum power and efficiency which can be received with this type of laser.

Topic(s)
Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Funding Scheme
Funding scheme (or “Type of Action”) inside a programme with common features. It specifies: the scope of what is funded; the reimbursement rate; specific evaluation criteria to qualify for funding; and the use of simplified forms of costs like lump sums.
