Enhanced vehicle passive safety network 2

Objective

The aim of EVPSN2 is to enhance the level of road safety at affordable costs for the individual user and the European society. Building on the existing infrastructure created under its predecessor EVPSN1, co-operation will be facilitated between the automotive industry, safety system suppliers, the research society, standard setting bodies and other stakeholders in the field of passive safety. The basis of EVPSN2 is the linkage between its current members (45) established in 13 EU countries in combination with a significant and growing number of clustered RTD projects in the field of passive safety creating integrated solutions. The structure of EVPSN2 (7 work packages, 8 clustered technology areas and 8 user groups) ensures that its members are fully aware of developments in the field of passive safety, the needs of potential users of its technologies and the capabilities of involved organisations.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)
