Objective
SAFESOUND aims at improving SAFETY during ground and flight operations by means of ENHANCED AUDIO functionalities. - Taking a global approach, SAFESOUND partners strongly believe that supporting CNS functions by an enhanced audio system will increase flight safety, while optimizing the crew situation awareness and allowing crews to keep their eyes-out the-cockpit, and extend operational capabilities Results will be exploited - in the aerospace domain, for integrating audio products in avionics suites - at the Community level, updating the European transport policy, and giving to European authorities the opportunity to initiate evolutions of regulation and standardization for enhanced audio functions;
