Objective
In a consortium of small aircraft builders (airplanes, sail planes and helicopters) the vacuum injection technology is (further) developed to produce and design main construction components: from spars to (parts of) the fuselage.
The objectives of the project will be:
- To eliminate exposition of workshop personnel to harmful components of resins during open-mould manufacturing techniques;
- To reduce costs of composite parts due to lower investments in tooling and machinery, and lower labor costs;
- To improves reproducibility of composite part quality;
- To render material properties in compliance with JAR-22/23/25/27/29 requirements;
- To limit the consequences for the design, production and test methods for aircraft parts in compliance with JAR-21/22/23/25/27/29 requirements.
