Objective
Nanomaterials studies are a very interesting branch of contemporary R&D in Europe and elsewhere. However, industrial exploitation of the results has been slow and problematic. The proposed study aims to identify the scientific, technological, economical and other practical problems that prevent the wide scale utilisation of nanomaterials. It aims also to identify RTD and other measures needed to overcome these problems. We propose to start with a pilot stage for this study whose objectives are :
1. determine the feasibility of the complete study
2. identify those that need to be approached in the complete study
3. determine the methodology for the gathering, compiling and analysing of the information.
