Objective
Lithuanian's development in its pre-accession phase to the EU requires a rapid adaptation of the existing science and technology sector to the standards of EU. The aim of the proposal is integration of activities of the Centre PRAMA at the SPI in ERA. The main objectives are: to improve and intensity the existing links with the outstanding European research centres; to extend the activities in networks towards new priorities of FP6; to add European standards in the PhD and master studies as well as training of young researchers at PRAMA; to increase the capacity of national research system in the field of advanced materials and devices. The expected result is the more efficient exploitation of PRAMA knowledge and intellectual potential for the improvement of the economical and social environment in Lithuania in conformity with the interest of the EU as a whole .
