Objetivo The main objective of the proposal is to establish the Centre of Excellence (CoE) in the Institute of Catalysis and Surface Chemistry (ICSC). Formation of the CoE will strengthen the Institute unique role of a leading research centre in molecular catalysis, surface chemistry and colloid science in Central Europe and integrate it within European Research Area through the increased networking with leading scientific institutions. The project will allow to broaden the Centre's area of research, increase the collaboration of the Institute with European scientific centres, extend the educational offer of the International PhD Studies in ICSC and attract young researchers to work in the Institute to develop their scientific skills. It will enhance chances of successful participation in 6th FP. It will also increase links with industrial and social environment of the country and will contribute to dissemination of knowledge in society.
