Center of excellence "sol-gel materials and nanotechnology"

Objective

The proposal is concerned with creation of a new Center of Excellence - "Sol-Gel Technology and Nanomaterials" (SGTNano) specializing in new, advanced materials based on the sol-gel technology . The Center main goal is to create and administer a network of academic, educational and industrial institutions involved in research, technology transfer, production and utilization of such materials. Other goals of the Center include : education (on different levels), organization and financing of scientific exchange (including various scholarships) , promotion of the newly associated states (NAS) and helping academic and educational institutions, industrial enterprises and individual scientists accessing the global scientific and technological information sources.
All these goals are aimed at enhancement of the European science and technology impact in the World.
