Surface phenomena and reactions

Objective

The surface science has growing importance in research in view of its significance in different areas of technology. Establishing of SURPHARE joins together groups of scientists from the Institute engaged in surface science. The aim of the Centre is scientific cooperation with laboratories in Europe working in the same field and equipped with particular kind of an instrument, intensification of the personal, indirect contacts, integration with other institutions and increasing of education level of young researchers. It will be realized by organizing conferences and workshops, exchange of scientists, education of young people, "Round Robin" type of experiments and standardization and quantification of surface science techniques.
