Centre of excellence for magnetic and molecular materials for future electronics at the institute of molecular physics of the polish academy of sciences

Objective

Organising the Centre of Excellence as a part of the Institute of Molecular Physics in Poznan is the subject of our proposal. An essential element of the proposal is to maintain and enhance our research abilities making them attractive for our research partners from EU. We are planning to extend and intensify our ongoing research efforts in magneto electronics, new magnetic materials, new organic low-dimensional and/or molecular materials and smart dielectric materials with adaptable drive/control or processing functions important for future electronics. Conferences, workshops, exchange program and education activities are aimed to maintain the "backbone" of our future integration with the European Research Area. The Centre also aims in education of a new generation of physicists to provide them with skills valuable for their prospect career.
