Objective
The Centre is situated in ICRI, the biggest chemical R&D institute in Poland and covers 7 Departments of ICRI doing research on synthesis and characterization of novel polymeric materials. The overall goal of the Project is strengthening the capability of the Centre to join European Research Area. To reach this goal the set of actions leading to increased scientific excellence of the Centre and to integration of the research groups working on advanced polymeric materials in the Centre and in the EU is planned. The actions contained in the work plan include, inter-alia : twinning of the Centre with its counterparts in the EU and in Poland, thematic conferences, workshops, seminars, networking and study visits, harmonization of methods of testing and standards with the EU promoting the sustainable technological development to the society and strengthening the links with the industry through assisting in technology transfer.
