Optimising powder-in-tube tapes in mri systems as ice-breaker for hts socio-economic benefits

CORDIS provides links to public deliverables and publications of HORIZON projects.

Links to deliverables and publications from FP7 projects, as well as links to some specific result types such as dataset and software, are dynamically retrieved from OpenAIRE .

Deliverables

An encasing of Cu (a sheath) is used around performs in order to improve the homogeneity of the mechanical deformation processing of performs of Ag/HTS (where HTS is high-critical temperature superconductor). The deformation steps consist of drawing and flat-rolling. The higher homogeneity of the tapes increases the current carrying capability of the tapes (increased critical current)
