Development of a new dispersion technology for the production of macromolecular flocculants

Objective

Based on their considerable experience within the field of mixing technologies especially in the high-viscosity product range (Prime proposer HEBOLD) and in the production of PA and PSA (Second proposer ACIDEKA) it is the proposers intention to develop a new process enabling the production of highly reactive precipitation agents and precipitation support agents. Initially the products should fulfill the following requirements: - High performance/reactivity due to a high content on polymers with a high molecular weight. - Reduction of the dosage needed compared to conventional chemicals by 20 % - Negligible residual monomers (98/83/EC) - Thermodynamic stability - Ready to use without dissolution or stirring and easily invertible when poured in water- Liquid and low viscosity products which simplifies their handling The proposed work programme for the intended research project will be finalized during the exploratory phase.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

Programme(s)

Multi-annual funding programmes that define the EU’s priorities for research and innovation.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Call for proposal

Procedure for inviting applicants to submit project proposals, with the aim of receiving EU funding.
