Objective
In the view of supporting quality control of routine laboratories in the Newly Associated Countries (NAS) in the sector of environmental and agro-food analysis, 2 practical Training Courses are proposed in Poland and Hungary, catering for the northern and southern NAS countries, respectively. Firstly, theoretical and practical aspects related to reference material production will be disseminated. Secondly, 'Training of Trainers' on the use of RMs in routine quality control (e.g. Control Charts) and in interlaboratory comparison studies is conducted. A 'Manual on Problems/Errors in LRM Use' will be prepared. Guidelines on the 'Use of LRM in Quality Control' will be translated into 12 national languages of the respective Newly Associated States.
