Forensic ear identification (FEARID)

Objective

A standardised procedure for ear print collection and a transparent procedure for classification and matching are proposed. The project will provide a research resource for further research and development. The results from the project will be disseminated through referred publication in forensic science, anatomy and artificial intelligence; conference presentations and workshops focussed on validation of evidence; training materials targeting the formation of investigative officers. The project offers such results transnationally to profit from economic of scale.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.
