Objetivo
This feasibility study proposal aims to the development of methods to prepare homogeneous and stable soil -, water- and waste reference materials contaminated with mineral oil and to certify the mineral content by gas chromatographic methods. These CRMs are needed as a technical contribution to support the standardization (ISO 9377-2, ISO/DIS 16703, ENpr 14039) and implementation of directives 76/464/EEC,91/689/EEC and 3592/92. At present no suitable CRMs are available. The innovative character of the project is to demonstrate the ability to produce appropriate reference materials, especially for water. 9 typical and representative candidate reference materials (3 for each matrix) will be prepared to meet the demand of practioners from various fields of activity. The homogeneity and stability studies and test certifications by intercomparisons will be carried out . A technical exploitation plan for this project is worked out .
