Objective
The development in today's Europe has made it necessary to improve international co-operation in the field of forensic science in order to identify problem areas and research needs, to improve the quality of forensic investigations as well as comparability of results and to train investigators especially in CEE countries. To achieve this, this project proposal is aimed at ensuring a continuous co-operation, on managerial level, between these laboratories and a coordinated approach to assessing future needs to produce forensic services in the focus areas of EU policies. Special emphasis will be put into harmonization of methods and development of staff competence.
