Objective
The objective of this project is to develop a simple and reliable inline quality control system - CLEANTROL - for industrial surface cleaning processes CLEANTROL will be based on a electrochemical sensor that gives information about surface properties like polarization resistance, activity, passevity or wettability. The sensors can easily can be following surface modification process has taken place. The European metal-working industry is in great need of such a control system, especially considering the high standards of the automotive and aerospace industry according to DIN ISO 900x, as a powerful tool for quick and reliable quality control. CLEANTROL will provide all companies in the fields of metalworking and surface modification with an efficient quality control instrument, leading to major cost reductions, especially for SME's.

Funding Scheme
Funding scheme (or “Type of Action”) inside a programme with common features. It specifies: the scope of what is funded; the reimbursement rate; specific evaluation criteria to qualify for funding; and the use of simplified forms of costs like lump sums.
