Objective
The intended project is aimed to develop an innovative device, called "Easymeter", for measuring dynamic and/or structural fluid viscosity. The proposed device will be equipped with a vessel, a magnetic stirrer, an electric motor and a sensor able to correlate the electric power supplied to the motor with the viscosity of the fluid under examination. The Easymeter will be operated by the means of “intelligent” software so that it will be possible to automatically detect the viscosity of the fluid under processing and correct it if required. The Easymeter will exhibit interesting features as regards measurement reproducibility and automation.
