European virtual engineering network (EVEN)

Objective

Creation of a virtual institute focused on product design and development and virtual engineering application, sharing knowledge and making it useable for European SMEs, with a multidisciplinary approach, integrating the various cultures and national characters of European order to definitely contribute to the improvement of competitiveness. This virtual centre will be focused on exploiting RTD results into industrial applications with a strong market orientation and meeting different needs of research/industrial sectors. In order to do that, the virtual centre will launch and promote dissemination and awareness actions, demonstration projects, tailoring of virtual engineering applications to specific sectors, product categories and type of companies.
