Objective

The objective of the NETMED Project is to set up a Virtual Institute structure aimed at facilitating the access to and the rapid exploitation of RTD results in the field of micromechatronics (MM) for applications in the biomedical sector. NETMED will promote and advance the science and multidisciplinary technologies of MM for the biomedical sector by means of dedicated seminars, training courses, and focused meetings between technology providers and users. NETMED will be a very market-oriented consortium, with a strong problem-solving, application-pulled attitude, aiming at proactively contacting potential users in the biomedical sector, interpreting their needs and providing the best possible services by exploiting MM technologies.
