Objective
To produce electricity by means of ORC turbogenerator of 500 kW range based on a machine constructed with EEC support (see GE./210/88/IT). To drill a well in a geothermal zone delineated by previous geological studies at a depth of 1100 m. Geothermal flowrate is estimated at 200 m3/h and 120 deg. C temperature. Gross electricity production of the organic rankline cycle will be 370 kWe, 85 kWe used for pumping equipment and air coolers give a net power of 285 kWe to run 8000 h/y. The produced electricity will be delivered to the existing grid or to the nearest villages.
