Objective
The S-CBB project objective is to accelerate the adoption and use of telematics applications for preventing fraud in export activity. The S-CBB project aims at completing and implementing a former project called Cargo Black Box (DISCII) and financed by the European commission, DG VII. The purpose of the project is to develop, improve and validate methods and tools that are needed to keep the know-how and technology ahead from the defrauders. The CBB project has shown that tracking and tracing systems can help monitoring the transport of goods as well as indicating time, date and proof of arrival. The S-CBB project will aim at demonstrating that the use of modern telematics application can provide proof of dischargement of the good. This will be done by minimising administrative procedures and guarantying integrity of operations.
