Objective
NIVEMES aims to harness telematics to better treatment for people whose health services may be compromised by professional or geographical isolation, such as sailors or remote populations, the project target group. The project will develop a network of medical institutions and telemedical health care providers offering a core of integrated services, support functions and applications consistently and in an integrated manner. It is anticipated that the technology developed will take the scope of the system beyond the project target group application.
