TECHNOLOGY ASSESSMENT IN TELE-NEURO-MEDICINE

Objective

TASTE is an accompanying measure to assist assessment of tele-neuro-medicine (TNM) services, with Telematics Programme projects in TNM a first target. The initiative will produce guidelines for TNM applications deployment and the professional assessment of TNM services, and a methodology to assess the impact of technology in TNM image transmission networks in terms of patient care and comfort. TASTE workshops, participation in an international congress and a technical letter will be among means used to publicise the project, which will benefit healthcare providers and enable better targeted industrial development in the field.
