Objective By using guidelines for clinical practice it is hoped to increase the quality and cost-efficiency of medical care. This project aims at enhancing and ensuring the Union-wide availability of guideline information to users, healthcare agencies, developers and implementors. Information will be compiled on institutions responsible for healthcare in the EU Member States, on major quality management programmes as well as on projects concerning guidelines.
