Obiettivo
By using guidelines for clinical practice it is hoped to increase the quality and cost-efficiency of medical care. This project aims at enhancing and ensuring the Union-wide availability of guideline information to users, healthcare agencies, developers and implementors. Information will be compiled on institutions responsible for healthcare in the EU Member States, on major quality management programmes as well as on projects concerning guidelines. Based on this account and on existing implementation approaches, scenarios for putting computer-based guidelines into practice will be made, and their feasibility scrutinised in collaboration with the relevant institutions of all participating countries
