Objective

The European Control Conference is organised every 2 years under the auspices of the European Union Control Association (EUCA) in co-operation with IFAC and in collaboration with the IEEE Control Systems Society. It takes place in one of the member countries of the European Union and aims to stimulate contact between specialists active in academic research and industrial development in the area of advanced control strategies and to promote scientific exchange within the European Community and between Europe and other parts of the world.

The conference provides an excellent opportunity especially for young researchers such as graduate, doctoral and post-doctoral students to present their scientific work to an international audience, to learn about state-of-the-art topics and to engage into discussions with highly reputed researchers from academia and industry. Female researchers were especially encouraged to participate by the organisers.
