Wpc 2000

Objective

Every second year Macromolecular Division of IUPAC selects a country that is authorised to organise an official Symposium of IUPAC Macromolecular Division. Since 1998 the Conference bears an official name: World Polymer Congress (WPC). Poland was selected to organise the Congress in the year 2000. Because this is the only WPC organised within decade in Europe (1994-USA, 1996-South Korea, 1998-Australia, 2000-Poland, 2002-China), it is an intention of the organisers to endure the broad participation of scientists and industry form European countries, especially of Central and Eastern Europe.
