Objective The purpose of EDAMBA Summer Schools is to make available to European doctoral students in management and business administration a summer school where issues concerning research methodology and research paradigms are presented and discussed focusing on a European context and taking into consideration the specific European theoretical traditions in the field. Also the summer school should create an environment where doctoral students from various sub-fields of management and business administration can meet and discuss issues concerning methodology, practical relevance and the state of European business, especially in relation to theoretical developments in the field of business research.
