Objective
This proposal comprises three events - three one-week courses on three topics related to the sustainability assessment of systems promoting quality of energy, air and water quality. These are three interconnected themes that can make the difference on whether a region or community - isolated areas, islands, tourist areas, and new urban developments - can become autonomous in some of the basic supplies. The decentralisation of energy production, the export of European energy technologies, the autonomy of remote regions and the economic development through SME and job creation related to new and renewable energy technologies in Europe and third countries are goals of the EU which this series of courses will be disseminating.
