Objective
The purpose of the conference is to exchange new ideas and promote further development of methods for identification of well-posed optimization problems, as well as regularization techniques for ill-posed problems. The importance of these topics has increased recently with the broader application of computerized mathematical models in technology, sciences, economics, and social sciences.
The material presented and discussed during the conference will cover a broad area related to well-posedness, in particular including: - general concepts of well-posedness of optimisation models with application to calculus of variations, optimal control, mathematical programming, game theory, equilibrium problems, etc. - regularization techniques for ill-posed problems, - conditioning of numerical optimisation methods and their stable behavior under perturbations.

Topic(s)
Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Funding Scheme
Funding scheme (or “Type of Action”) inside a programme with common features. It specifies: the scope of what is funded; the reimbursement rate; specific evaluation criteria to qualify for funding; and the use of simplified forms of costs like lump sums.
