Objective
The MASRET project is based on material science in particular on the nanostructures. MASRET 1 (Electron and Photon Confinement in Semiconductor Nanostructures) is dedicated to semiconductor nanostructures and related electron and photon confinement. MASRET 2 (Quantum Properties of Mesoscopic Systems) treats the quantum properties of systems in the range from some atoms to the nanometric scale. The project is expected to represent the contact point for European researchers and leader scientists, active in those fields. The further developments will increase the knowledge thus allowing a know-out essential to the European improvement of science and technology.
