High-level research on 3-d image analysis and virtual reality applications

Objective

ITI is a research Institute staffed by 50 researchers working among others on all aspects of multimedia coding and 3-D imaging research (http://www.iti.gr(opens in new window)) . The group is located in Thessaloniki, Greece. We are looking for outstanding researchers with a doctoral degree or at least four years of full-time research experience at postgraduate level, with a strong interest in research. The common language of the lab is English; therefore a good standard in written and spoken English is essential. Researchers will receive a Marie Curie Development Host Fellowship. Nationality and current or recent centre of activity must be other than Greek. The duration of the Fellowships is from 12 to 24 months. Based on equal opportunities policy, women researchers are encouraged to apply. General Knowledge Required Candidates should have a PhD or research experience in 3-D imaging, modeling or graphics analysis. Knowledge of MPEG-4, and security algorithms is essential for certain positions.
