Development and application of isotopic methodologies in environmental research

Objective

A Marie Curie Development Host Fellowship is available at the Isotopic Methodologies and Application Research group of the Environmental Science Department of the Second University of Naples (Caserta,Italy). Physicists and ecologists are involved in multidisciplinary experimental research programs concerning the quantification of carbon fluxes and stores in soils and their role in global carbon cycles. Conventional mass spectrometry, laser spectroscopy and analytical techniques currently used in ecology research are employed. A graphitization line is also operational for the treatment of samples for 14C measurements at the accelerator mass spectrometry facility at the Physics Department of the University of Naples. Qualification of the applicants in the above experimental fields is sought, together with interest in the development of new experimental methods and numerical models.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.
