Molecular pharmacology of inflammatory responses

Objective

Marie Curied Development Host Fellowship (post-doctoral, 2 years period) available in the Pharmacology of Inflammation Group, Department of Pharmacology, University of Valencia, Spain., Our group has a long experience in studies of inflammatory mediators and anti-inflammatory drugs and we can offer excellent research facilities. The aim of this project is the application of molecular biology tools to the characterization of the role of enzymes such as hemi oxygenize, phospholipases, cyclo-oxygenases and nitric oxide syntheses in cell models of inflammatory conditions as well as in pharmacological studies of anti-inflammatory drugs. Fellows must have expertise in molecular biology techniques. Experience in cell culture and cell biology is also of interest. Tasks will include preparation of DNA and transfection into eukaryotic cells to carry out studies on enzyme expression and promoter function.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.
