Objective
The high-energy phenomenology group of the Institute of Nuclear Physics, NCSR "Demokritos", in collaboration with the theoretical physics group of the Aristotele's University of Thessaloniki is offering a number of Marie Curie Development Host Fellowships at the post-doctoral level, in the general area of particle physics phenomenology. The group being one of the leading in developing innovative methods and computational packages for mutli-particle production in close collaboration with a large number of groups from all over Europe, sought to further develop its competence in higher order corrections to multi-particle amplitudes.
The successful candidate is expected to work on one of the following key areas, namely
(i) on the development of efficient algorithms for automatic computation of one-loop irreducible contributions,
(ii) on the investigation of innovative methods for direct numerical approach to Feynman integrals,
(iii) on the implementation of recursive Dyson-Schwinger equations to efficiently calculate one-loop multi-particle scattering amplitudes and
(iv) on the incorporation of the Minimal Super symmetric Standard Model to the developed computational packages. The successful candidate is required to have a PhD Degree in theoretical particle physics. Experience with computer algebra systems for higher order corrections and computer aided algorithms for helicity amplitudes computation and phase-space generation will be appreciated.

Funding Scheme
Funding scheme (or “Type of Action”) inside a programme with common features. It specifies: the scope of what is funded; the reimbursement rate; specific evaluation criteria to qualify for funding; and the use of simplified forms of costs like lump sums.
