Objective
A 2 -year postdoctoral position (Marie Curie Development Host Fellowship) is offered to work on a project looking at the cortical representation of comprehension and production processes in Spanish Sign Language. Our department enjoys excellent accommodation in an exceptionally attractive location, and technical facilities. These include a lab equipped to run experiments using classical RTs measures, a DPIeyetracker, a high density ERP machine. Our research group has also access to a fMRI GE 1.5 T machine as well as to a transcraneal magnetic stimulator. The successful candidate is expected to investigate the brain representation of perception and production sign language processing by using behavioral and brain imaging techniques. Therefore, the candidate should have experience within the field of Cognitive Neuroscience working with event related potentials, or FMRI or Transcraneal magnetic stimulation. The candidate must meet the following criteria taken from the European Union (EU) guidelines (See http:/cordis.europa.eu/improving/fellowships/home.htm) Applications, including CV and names of two referees, should be sent to Prof. Manuel Carreiras.
