Application of synchroton radiation microtomography to the 3d analysis of bone samples : structure and density

Objective

Synchroton radiation Microtomography (SE µCT) is a non-destructive technique particularly attractive for the investigation of bone architecture, since it provides high resolution three-dimensional images of bone samples. The purpose of the project is to develop new 3D analysis techniques for the quantification of bone architecture and of bone mineral density.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.
