Imaging and multimodal monitoring in clinical diagnosis of neurological disorders

Objective

- Acquire hands-on experience in image processing (combination of CT, MRI and SPECT) for quantitative assessment of neurological disorders. - Provide methods to combine the results of image analysis with information obtained through multimodal brain monitoring to enable comparative analysis of the quantitative yield of each technique versus cost and risk to the patient. - On this basis, in one of the selected application fields (degenerative motor disturbance, hydrocephalus and brain injury) to indicate the most effective selection of clinical methods for acute assessment and subsequent clinical follow-up.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.
