Atom interferometric measurement of the newtonian gravitational constant

Objective

A high sensitive atom interferometer based on laser cooling will be built. The phase shift of its signal due to the gravitational potential of a well defined source mass will be detected to precisely measure the Newtonian gravitational constant.
