Objective
AVENTIS PHARMA Two EU-funded postdoctoral positions are available to work on a project entitled: "Development of a tissue repository and new technologies for molecular pathology analysis for oncology research". The positions will be focused on developing a tissue repository, in particular prostate tumors, as a source of genomic project and the implementation of high throughput technologies for identification and localization of new therapeutic targets in oncology. Main mission will be the coordination and the follow-up of the tissue repository in collaboration with the tissue source institution, informatics, legal, regulatory affairs and business development, under the highest ethical standard. In addition, fellows will develop Laser micro dissection, rapid in situ hybridization, and immunochemistry and tissue accays for the cellular localization of the target transcript and/or protein. Applicants should have a Ph.D in cell biology with a strong background in anatomopathology. Expertise in legal will be of interest. The two positions require candidates who are highly motivated and committed to working in an international team environment. Positions are for 2 years and will be based in the Functional Genomic Department at Aventis-Pharma, near Paris, France. Written detail and letters of application, together with CVs and the names of two referees should be sent: to: Dr.Anne Marie Lefebvre, Tissular, and Cellular Validation Unit, AVENTIS PHARMA, 13, Quai Jules Guesde, BP14, 94403 Vitry sur Seine, France.
