Advanced control and supervision of processes and production systems

Objective

Research Training which is provided: Advanced regulation, Design of multivariable controllers, Advanced process control lab work, Petri nets Analysis & control of production systems, Rem time & local area networks, Artificial intelligence, Optimal filtering, Constrained optimization, Performance evaluation of production systems, ...Expertise available: More than 35 permanent researchers work in the field of analysis, modeling, control & supervision of processes & production systems, ranging from theoretical developments to practical applications through methodological studies. The domain of application of these studies ranges to various types of processes, including electrical, mechanical, chemical processes, transportation systems, food industry, biotechnology, production systems, manufacturing systems, communication systems, etc. Qualification /experience required: The applicants should have a good background in automatic control and/or production systems at the level of a master thesis, some experience in the use of classical software (for automatic control) and ability in conducting methodological research.
