Functional genomics of fission yeast

Objective

Applications are invited for Marie Curie post-graduate fellowships to visit the University of Sussex Fission Yeast Group for periods of 3-12 months, and use the resources of the Fission Yeast Functional Genomics facility. Libraries of temperature-sensitive and insertionally mutated strains are available for high-throughput screening. Graduate students from EU states outside the United Kingdom, or the associated states, will receive training in the relevant techniques; if appropriate, strains of interest may be characterized by advanced molecular biological and microscopic techniques. Informal enquiries (to j.armstrong@sussex.ac.uk) are invited from interested students in any of the eligible states. The University operates an equal opportunities policy, particularly with respect to gender and ethnic background.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.
