Objective
The Borexino detector is devoted to the study of solar neutrinos and neutrino oscillations. The detector is approaching the commissioning and the data-taking phase, at the Gran Sasso underground laboratory in central Italy. Solar neutrino detection requires ultra low purity of the detector and purification techniques. We are seeking for a young scientist with interest and experience in the activity of low rate counting, background minimization and data analysis. The activity will take place in the Gran Sasso Laboratory, in the frame of the Borexino International Collaboration.
