Objective
The Center for Comparative Law and Social Security (COMPTRASEC) at Bordeaux IV Montesquieu University is known for its comparative works in the area of Labor and Social Security Law. This includes :industrial relations around the world, public policies on employment and social risks. The themes are considered from a comparative perspective and benchmarking using, in an interdisciplinary context. The COMPTRASEC is a joint research unit of Montesquieu University and the CNRS (Center for the National Scientific Research). Young European Ph.D. researchers could find a specialized library and a dynamic scientific animation, the COMPTRASEC is integrated in an active network of researchers and Universities. The young fellows could take advantages of the internal seminar and the conferences, the International Seminar, the participating in a specialized revue. Under the Marie Curie program, the Ph.D. researchers whose research is connected on the above research areas, and have some notions of the French language, can apply for a 4 months staying at the COMPTRASEC. Twelve positions are available between January 2002 and 2005.
